Being NEET is fun. Here's my typical day:
-go to Starbucks and stare at the 18 yo Asian sitting in front of me while browsing this forum. When I'm done I leave my garbage beside her, or half assed throw it in the trash, have the trash fall on the floor and act too lazy to pick it up
-ask a roastie for directions but then waste as much of her time as possible while creep staring her. My record was taking 30 minutes to know where the bus loop was
-waste more roastie time with my tinder chadbots, set up a date then complain how my face is asymmetrical and how my 180 IQ makes up for it, blame her for rejecting me and tell her she's too dumb to appreciate my high IQ
-complain to parents about how I owe nothing to society for bullying me for the last 22 years.

I've got at least 7 figures in inheritance coming my way from various sources if I play my cards right. Once my dad dies I'll be too fucking depressed to go on anyway and I'm basically a child at this point so I'd probably rope. If I don't rope I can live off whats left hopefully.

NEETdom is a privilege. If you have the conditions to do it in a way that's sustainable in the long run and think it's the best lifestyle for you (it is an appealing lifestyle for truecels), plan it smartly and go for it.
The only inherently bad thing about NEETdom is its usual lack of sustainability. I don't think it necessarily hurts you even mentally, not having to work doesn't mean you can't dedicate your time to things you want. It does require discipline to be a NEET with purpose though.
If you don't have the means to do it sustainably, it's unfortunately better to wageslave.
