I have a family who can definitely afford to support me if I ever became a NEET. But the thing is, they're super EXTREMELY anti-NEET. Even when I'm just on summer break and chilling in the house all day, waiting for my next year of college to start, they always like to threaten to kick me out and they're telling me to find a job even though I'm only in this place for another month. They never relax if I want to relax myself. They always want me to be doing something which is extremely fucking stupid. They claim I do nothing in college because I have a low GPA, but in fact, I never really played games much, mostly on Friday and the weekends, but only for a couple hours on the weekdays (my classes end extremely early. I have plenty of freetime in between studying since I have literally no social life and no friends, I gotta do what I gotta do so I don't go insane). I already feel borderline suicidal from my stupid ass college experience, I hate that place.

If I went NEET one day, I would be on the streets, dying and rotting. My parents would disown me completely if I failed or dropped out of college, even if I wanted to go to trade school instead. NEETs are very lucky to have caring parents that don't give a shit.

My sister is brain damaged and so she will have to live with my parents for the rest of her life, they spend almost all their time looking after that mouth breather so, it's not like me being here disrupts or disturbs them, like it would others (I barely ever leave my room), as they spend most of their time looking after my sister.

Im on the same boat as you man. I finished my first year of college and it was suifuel. Now im tryna rot and my parents keep on bugging me to get a job and shame me for being lazy. It's over.
