Serious Need advise from codecels

I have the choice between studying digital design (mostly front end stuff + light coding) at the highest ranked uni in Australia (grades weren't good enough for stem) and doing an associate's + bachelor degree in Information Technology at another decent uni.

Which would you recommend and why? In terms of employability and whether if it'll be worth it
