Postpartum psychosis involves abrupt onset of psychotic symptoms after childbirth. For those unfamiliar with psychology, a rough definition of psychosis is the inability to tell what's real and what's not.
According to research done by Osborne (2018) and Rodriguez-Cabezas & Clark (2018), postpartum psychosis occurs following 1 in 500 to 1000 childbirths. 1 in 25 to 100 of these lead to infanticide (Osborne, 2018), murder of the infant. According to the United Nations, 134 million babies were born in 2023. Combining these statistics, we can conclude that between 1340 and 10720 infants were murdered by their mothers last year.
Yet another reason to hate foids. This could have been your own mother, by the way, regardless of how much she loves you. Psychosis does not discriminate. This could also be your future wife if you somehow ascend and have children.
Some here could also argue that some or most of these cases are being feigned to get away with infanticide, which is much more heinous than what's already presented here.
