Personally I think NDEs are all fabricated by various spiritualists to promote a certain agenda that tries to make people slaves. NDEs fall apart under skepticism. Notice how nobody gets these bullshit NDEs when you OD on opioids or get a shotgun blast to the head? I think any method of dying that instantly BTFOs the brain leads to NDE bypass. Because NDEs are gay as fuck.

I find near death experiences quite BS. It's always the same story. You die, wake up with the same body, you walk into a bright light and see your deceased relatives.

This implies that if your grandma died of old age, she will get to spend the rest of eternity with you, with an ugly wrinkly old face. And everyone wears a white robe for some reason. It makes you wish you'd die young to spend the afterlife in a young body.

Not to mention the George Carlin argument, that if afterlife exists then an infinite number of souls keeps being created for no apparent reason.

You die and the lights are turned off. No thoughts, no emotions, no experience. That's probably it.
