Naturemax cope: weekends in the countryside (just this month)
This month I’ve been spending every Saturday and Sunday at my uncle’s place in the countryside. Nothing special — just trees, dirt, bugs, fresh air. But every time I’m there, I feel like I unplug from all the poison of the city, the mental noise, the looping thoughts.
Walking through the woods, staring at the sky, listening to birds… sounds cheesy, but it’s one of the only times I feel my cortisol drop. Like my brain can finally breathe. No screens, no people, no pressure. Just existing, nothing more.
I know it won’t “fix” me, won’t give me looks, won’t turn me into a normie. But for now, it’s one of the best copes I have. One of the few things I genuinely enjoy.
Anyone else naturemaxing or got a similar cope lately?
