2. Pallas cat

3. Flat headed cat

4. Jaguarundi

5. Rusty spotted cat

Everyone knows lions, tigers, leopards, exc so i thought it would be important to share these. Now you know

The rusty spotted cat only lives in India though it seems. Lifefuel for indiancels

The jaguaruni has always kind of amused me given that they are social felines like Lions despite not being classified as Big cats (Panthera)

Behavior

Jaguarundis are known as very secretive animals. It was once believed that they were solitary except during the breeding season. Recent reports of pairs suggest that they may be more social than once thought. Pairs are often sighted in Paraguay, but individuals in Mexico are believed to be solitary. They are mostly diurnal, with their peak in activity occurring around 11 in the morning. Some activity does occur at night, and they are often reported as being nocturnal and diurnal. Jaguarundis are terrestrial but are also good climbers and swimmers.

nice post, i didn't know about most of these cats. most of these are actually quite obscure except for pallas' cat, which for some reason is somewhat popular and memed because the cat and its reclusive behavior was featured in a few nature shows.

normies are usually more into cats that are actually available for ownership (by richfags anyway) like the serval cat, bengal cat, savannah hybrid cat. usually because there are places that raise them specifically to sell them as pets. those who own exotic cats like this love to show them off on youtube.

Poor guy lives on a single island. They're cute looking though
bro looks like he started evolving into a bat, i'm going to guess nocturnal or maybe even literally likes living in caves.

The kodkod, a strange species of tiny wild cat native to the Andes of Chile.

I also like the fishing cat, which is native to southeast Asia which is literally specialized to catch fish out of rivers and ponds in tropical rainforests.
