The endless pursuit for survival, for the fittest genes in a world that won't exist anymore in a few thousand years.
Planet earth is going to be hit by comets, or swallowed by a black hole. Maybe the sun cools down and earth will be covered in ice, or maybe humans destroy everything with nukes.
Yet we are forced to carry information that we try to pass on and it creates competition and endless suffering, provided by our own bodies, supposed to steer us into the direction nature wants us to.
Then we are also plagued by things like parasites and viruses, who are dependant on other organisms. All to be snuffed out in the end. A desperate attempt to compete with no chance of winning in first place.
But actually noone will ever win this painful game of immortality. Nature is greedy and wants the best of the best information to be acquired through evolution. But nothing lasts forever. Physics will cut biological beings down, again and again, everywhere in this galaxy.
