Theory My theory on why ugly and socially awkward dudes stop having friends in their teen years and afterwards

When you're a little kid if you're ugly or just slightly below average no one doesn't care. You have it easier to socialise and make friends. Even with some girls (i can speak from experience)
"We will be friends forever!" "Hey wanna hangout and play ball or tag" "wow such a cool video game where did you get that? Can we play multiplayer together"

Man i miss hearing those words...
Once puberty everything went downhill. People were like; "who tf is this potato" "why are you still alive" "you fucking retard"

Anyways. My theory is because during puberty people change and so do their attitudes. They begin to discard the sexually inferior members of their species.

Females see you as unworthy and males see you as weak.
You're not even seen as a normal person anymore. Your value drops to zero.
As a kid females will have mercy and pity you because they're programmed to view children like that. But once you hit a certain age they begin to see you as a threat to them or just inferior crap

This is the reason also why older people are more merciful to us. Because they're out of the sexual market and all sexual stuff.
They're basically retired from life. They no longer view us as competition or threats ffs.

Because everyone is programmed to feel sorry and love kids.
When an ugly kid cries everyone will rush at him comforting him and smiling at him giving him candy and you know typical stuff kids want.

But if an ugly adult feels sad about his looks he'll get made fun at even more.

Aside from feeling sorry for kiddos and being programmed this way, I'd like to add another theory - and it is the difference between human babies and animal babies (for us) the way I see it. When you get a puppy you know it'll grow up but it won't be much smarter, while with kids you always hope the genetic dice was in your favour and your kid will become the next Einstein. HOPE is why people are nice to kids.

My grandma used to say "whoever is ugly as a kid becomes handsome/beautiful later on" and this is exactly a HOPING cope. You don't know what somebody's final form is until they are 20+, so people being optimistic about ugly kids still having a "chance" is what makes them nice, IMO.
