I don't know what to do. I've really tried going to bed earlier gradually to improve the time when i go to bed.

but i always relapse, either i stay up really late one night. (The worst one lately was when i went to bed around 4 and couldnt fall asleep until 6 in the morning and woke up around 13)

or I wake up but just stay in my bed for hours before actually getting out, because there's nothing to look forward to, nothing to get out of bed for. It's depressing.
I know i have exams and i have to study and find work for money etc.. but I just can;t..

How can I look forward to life without friends, girlfriend, fun hobbies etc. FUCK THIS SHIT.
kill me fast

Recently I fixed my sleep schedule just by getting up at the exact same time every morning, say 7 AM, and then immediately using a therapy lamp for 30 minutes on 10,000 lux everyday. You could also just take a walk outside in sunlight for 30 minutes. That reset my circadian rhythm. I just go to bed whenever I get sleepy but get up at the exact same time every day. No napping during the day, stay out of bed, don't lie down.

I recommend a therapy lamp like HappyLight. Also helps with seasonal affective disorder, but winter is almost over now.

take a sleeping pill

or benzos with vodka

Not a bad recommendation. I've thought about picking one of these up for a awhile, there's phone apps but they just don't work the same.

I haven't had a good night's sleep in years because of sleep apnea. Where I live it takes over 2 years on a waiting list to even get a test.

I haven't had a good night sleep in ages. I am seemingly cursed with chronic insomnia till the day this horrid life ends.

Your body simply can't calm down. I have this too, and it got worse after one incident. I would lie awake all night, staring at the ceiling. I still sometimes have trouble falling asleep. For me, regular melatonin worked for this.

I use to have sleep problems and I also fix it with afternoons walks, good advice:feelsLightsaber:
