Getting sun is good for you, though, in reasonable doses if you work up to it. I'm as white as you can get and I've spent years hiding from the sun and slathering myself in suncreen. Now I'm trying to adapt to the sun a bit. Those of you who are depressed should try to get more sun.

I get sunburned as well, but I think gradually introducing oneself to more and more sun helps the skin adapt (that's exactly what tanning is, actually, though I don't tan, I just burn and freckle). So, I'm doing 5 minutes a day in the sun at midday right now. I cover my face, neck, and arms (which are usually exposed) and just put it on my back and then chest. I'm working up to 10 minutes a day, then 20.

Yeah I feel this, the sun keeps making me darker and darker and I feel like I'm ruining what little chance I might have even more
