I feel at my absolute lowest when I’m playing my switch or watching anime on my phone, and the screen goes dark and I see my face’s reflection. Because I see what an ugly loser I am, home alone watching an anime about high school romance or playing a game about making friends with cartoon animals, instead of actually socializing and being loved. It completely takes me out and back to reality, about how much of a loser I am and how I can only experience these crucial life milestones vicariously through fiction.
