They were insanely strict and messed up my mentality.

• I almost never was allowed to play video games till 16 (except birthday / new year), after 16, they allowed me to play 30 min max (with a timer) per day, given that I did all my homework, house tasks, etc. Games could not be violent (no GTA) so only racing. Braking the rule = scandal + game ban for weeks.
• I was never allowed to visit friends. Between ages 6 - 18, I've visited my friends exactly 4 times. I remember clearly peeking behind my curtain at my friends playing and waiting for me.
• Having a girl friend (a friend that is a girl) was not allowed (jfl, never had one or will)
• Swearing (like saying 'shit') = scandal
• Until 23, I had to show them all of my checks (internet, shops even like supermarkets)
• Drinking alcohol was strictly prohibited until 23 (only champagne on New Years). Breaking the rule = beatings
• Until 23, I had to go to sleep by 10:00 PM, staying later would result in scandal
• I was not allowed to be angry or sad (I was once grounded for frowning at the dining table)

Their ideology was education + knowledge > social connections + friends

In the result:
1. I am ugly af due to their genetics

2. I am socially retarded, cannot build friendships or how to act in social connections, developed social anxiety, I am never sure / confident of my actions (as I always relied on approvement of my parents even for simple things like buying food). I DON'T GET SOCIAL CUES. My family says that I behave weird.

= 0 female friends in my whole life
= 0 male friends for the past 5 years (last one I had in school)

You should be thanking the gods for this my friend. I spend my entire youth on vidya. It was good cope for the time being, but it leaves you with shitty health (such as decreased height due to inactivity) and loss of direction (you have no cultivated any skills/passion in your life)

I don't think this would have anything to do with being an incel. Video games are a recent phenomenon. I've personally played lots (including very violent once) and that didn't help me build relationships with women.
