Although she supports abortion rights, that doesn't mean you should necessarily abort. It's a choice. And I'd say that choice is objectivist. She says there's no such thing as duty. While in my eyes it should be a duty, if there's no such thing as duty, then there's no duty to be childless. She also defended selfishness, and I think a facet of selfishness or self-love is to follow your dreams, which can involve becoming a parent. I also feel like selfishness is in line with Christianity because Jesus said to love your neighbor as yourself and to love your neighbor. I think Jesus was an objectivist. I think she allowed charity if you can and want to. Well, parenthood is charity. I don't want to go on a tangent, but severe altruism can actually hinder parenthood. She did criticize altruism. She also criticized hedonism. Parenthood seems compatible with this since parents are a little less happy than childless people, when you control for marital status, age, and church attendance.
