My worse fears have come to fruition in that I'm being bothered by more things that I shouldn't be bothered by which makes it extremely hard to think clearly as I am constantly barraged by my own mind endlessly tortured because all I do is think all day about how certain things seem to bother me, It has become almost impossible for me to relax at all as my mind constantly needs to be distracted or I will remain in a constantly state of mental agony. This also means that if playing a game that doesn't require much thought I will be still terrorized by my own mind so for the most part I can no longer find those games thrilling.

very relatable man, my mind is never able to relax

Brutal, I knew a guy from my high school who had OCD, wouldn’t wish for any person to have it (except foids). This might sound pointless considering the kind of lives we live but I genuinely hope you feel better soon

Unfortunately there is no feeling better soon, there is no cure for OCD.

A 0.5 mg clonazepam per day helps calm my mind from the anxiety and OCD, but you have to be very careful with benzos. I don't ever exceed 0.5mg in a day except maybe once a year (1 mg). I'm going to try inositol powder for OCD.

I've tried drugs like that before and they do nothing to help me or make my OCD worse.

I recommend seeking some medical help. Apparently Luvox (fluvoxamine) is the "gold standard" treatment for OCD according to my psychiatrist. I was on 200 mg a day for 10 years. I think it helped. There's also Zoloft (sertraline) and Prozac.

None of this stuff even began to touch my social anxiety though. I guess the childhood trauma was too great or something? I dunno.
