Tbh a lot of modern Jews (including powerful ones) are at least ostensibly atheist and not Talmudic. Look at how Israel is the fag pride capital of the Middle East for instance.

This is true, however unless they have done serious introspection and research they will still subconsciously carry with them beliefs from their religion. This isn't unique to Jews, White people have this too. The beliefs of progressivism and universal tolerance stem from Christian teachings. It's why you have White "atheists" who oppose things like murder and suicide and argue for equality and inclusivity, which makes no sense under atheism because we are all just meaningless matter arranged in a certain way that happened to generate intelligent life. Atheism is a relatively new belief system and religions have been around a lot longer (plus I think belief in religion is the natural state of humanity) so they will leave an impression on future generations even if they don't directly believe in any faith

Many Jews don't believe in Judaism, that's why they practice homosexuality despite the torah calling it an abomination. (They are called secular jews I think)
