I couldnt tie my own shoes until 11, it's not about showering, it's about functioning as an adult, it's sad maybe but you have to grow up fast as a kid otherwise you lose the race, I lost the race by a lot, I could not physically shower myself while kids my age were fucking, it's not showering but the ability to shower or do anything, I did not get a phone until 16
