She did put us in soccer when we were young but never let us take it further. Even when it was suggested my brother and I join rep league. My brother couldve done something with soccer, and I reckon i couldve become a pro tennis player had I started young enough. Regardless of going pro or not ur smv increases significantly if ur an athlete in school. Alas, instead my mom wanted us to focus on school, and now my brother has a useless degree and left the country with his SEA wife, and Im a stay at home incel. Im not complaining too much really, or begrudging fate, but still it makes one think if things wouldve been different being an athlete in school. My nephews r in sports and it seems like its helping one of them whos old enough 4 those things. Oh well, being a tennis player would be lame anyway, being a nobody wannabe musician is way cooler

the past is written in our flesh. The only people affected were us in the end. This is why you hold unto your dream with all your might and risk your life for it. Life without ambition is meaningless.

Do support your nephews with sports whenever possible, that's the best advice I can give.

I once aspired to be an artist as a brat, make my own comic books. Now that I'm older my little cousin is going the same route as I did. I have one of his canvas paintings nailed to my wall now.
