A cat bore kittens and one of the kittens has been rejected by the mother and is required to be fed with a syringe. He refuses to eat on the syringe and my guess is because of a sudden drop in blood sugar. I wanted to warm a blanket from home and bring him a small glass of water and sugar to rub it on his gums. My mother noticed what I was doing and got absolutely furious at me because I'm "wasting blankets and sugar on a cat" and she said that I should just let the kitten die. Now some of you might say that I should go feed the kitten regardless, but the last time my mom was furious and I wanted to forcefully do something we almost ended up wrestling and she broke down and accussed me of hitting her, even if she engaged first in physical contact by trying to wrestle me.
