Whenever I move my head to the left or right, my neck cracks very quietly. This has been happening for about 5 days now. Recently I've started having attacks of vertigo, i.e. I get slightly dizzy in front of my eyes, occasionally once a day I hear a beeping in my ear or one ear goes completely silent for a few seconds.
Does anyone know what this could be due to?
I haven't injured myself anywhere.
The crackling started because I probably slept a bit wrong.
I was lying on the couch and my head was in a silly position.
Could it be that my atlas vertebra of the spine has been displaced, causing it to press against my carotid artery and restrict the blood flow through my veins, preventing enough blood from flowing to the brain?
What should I do?
