Yes, the early 2000s were great, i miss being a kidcel during that era.
Culturally they were a sort of expansion of the late 90s, the internet was there but wasn't a part of everyday life yet, you could easily live your life without it.
IMHO it was the last somewhat sane era before everything went to shit

Less feminism, no lgbtq, no sjw, no race obsession, much less politics on TV. Video games, music, cartoons, movies, tv shows were better and everything aired for free on the TV. It was simpler and funnier to watch whatever was airing at appointed times and create schedules around it. When you got a new game, you were in for a treat. You didnt knew into what youre getting into, no gameplays, reviews and playthroughs everywhere, same with movies. Now everything of copes is available all the time with quick googling, so we dont appreciate it enough and dont stick with it. And before playing or watching something, you already know 80% of the story and general opinion if its good or not. Back then you formed your own opinion about everything not clouded by others.
Unironically times were much more diverse, people stuck to more type of cultures. Like goth, punk, skate, jocks, nerds, geeks, etc.
