medications i tried and my experience with them.

venlafaxine - hit me really hard,it has some benefit as mood stabilizer but the side effects just fucked me up.
geodone - some "high tech" drug that put me into sleep 10 seconds after i ingested it. made me feel like i was gonna die or something. only tried it once
zoloft - its fairly light. first week made me feel terribly depressed but after that it was smooth sailing, im taking the same dose for almost a year now and it doesn't seem to taper off (only slightly) i might need to up the dose soon

if you are new to ssri's. what it does is stabilize your mood (if you have some kind of mood disorder like anxiety or depression). most likely that 50% of the SSRI's won't work on your brain straight off the bat. so you constantly have to switch to see what actually works.
also, if you are not diagnosed with mental illness, i don't recommend taking it. consult your medical doctor before you do anything

I took venlafaxine before I stopped with pharma drugs. My biggest issue with it was I couldn't cum while taking it. Also, I was worried about it making my gyno worse but that's probably not so common. I guess it might have improved my mood significantly but it was hard to sleep while taking it. I also took bupropion for awhile (Welbutrin, not an SSRI, but an NDRI if i remember correctly) and I scored rather well on the MCAT while I was taking it, on withdrawl from it I remember doing rather poorly on an exam in probability class. Lastly, I have taken risperidone but that shit fucks u up nigga.

IDK about you OP, but I'd rather cope with cannabis or alcohol regularly than take a pill everyday. SSRIs create strong dependency compared to weed at least, and even though I don't drink or toke the reefer nowadays, this was a significant part of my reasoning to quit the crazy pills a year ago.

IDK about you OP, but I'd rather cope with cannabis or alcohol regularly than take a pill everyday. SSRIs create strong dependency compared to weed at least, and even though I don't drink or toke the reefer nowadays, this was a significant part of my reasoning to quit the crazy pills a year ago.

well im glad you found a way to quit.
for me, i can't afford to quit because i have anxiety issues that can only be tackled with drugs. life is better without anxiety

I was supposed to take 30mg Escitalopram daily but I didn't take it because I read about hellish withdrawals and complete loss of libido.
I'm self medicating with Kratom instead.
