I met him at the front desk of the hotel i work at. He seemed nice but i knew he was up to no good. I go to do some work on the surveillance cameras at the hotel and while I am gone he reaches across the front desk and takes my backpack. It took me a while before i realized. I approached him and asked if he took it and he, very nervously, said no. I felt that he was lying and so i spent some time looking for the camera footage to confirm that he stole it. I call the cops but he runs away before they catch him. He left my backpack but took all of my materials. My math book, physics book, a book by Daniel Dennett, and three tcg decks ( two yugioh and one Dragon ball). I lost $300 today. I went searching the streets for him but i couldn't find him. I want his head on a pole. I want my books back and my tcg cards back. I know he wont be able to understand advanced calculus or quantum physics. I know he wont know the actual worth of those trading cards. Its time to rope boyos. Sighhh

>working on surveillance cameras
>gets stolen from

there's probably a joke in that somewhere

Look for the cards and the text books to show up on ebay/craigslist/whatever sales apps are popular(wish-something, mecari, etc).

He won't have an easy time selling those things without using the internet, so it is worth looking out. I know that's how people have gotten busted stealing trading cards before.

How would i be able to identify if they are my items?

Thats so shitty, I'm sorry that happened man

he jacked your yugioh cards lmao

noticed this too, Chads are usually way nicer

chadlites are so close yet so far which frustrates them and turns them into dickheads. chads on the other hand got it all so they are nice.

Well, I'm assuming you'll at least be able to find a clue that would suggest the items could be yours, but search for the stolen items relative to the sellers location. If you see items matching yours that were stolen and the guy selling them is within 20 miles of your location (the closer the better), it is worth a shot to investigate.
