Psychiatrists (99% of them) do not offer counseling or the traditional "talk therapy". Instead, they listen to you, pattern match your symptoms to the latest in scientific research, and medicate you.
Psychologists vary, but I've spent 60% of what an average person makes a month here in a single session for psychology sessions and it didn't help me one bit.
I was a LDARist (I would sleep for 20 hours a day) and I NEET'd and dropped out of HS. But, therapy made me get back to education and cope better.
Anyway, I only believe in psychiatry/psychology if you have some kind of psychotic illness (schizophrenia, etc.) because these illnesses respond to medications. But if you are an incel, what is there to do?
You learn to copemaxx. As miserable as my inceldom situation is, I have had days where I did not feel suffering, in which I just enjoyed life. So in principle I can feel happy. That's what I am trying to do, to become functional and live a happy life and die happy even if I stay a trucel.
