After what you described, he continued to stay on top, and build two major companies which did ENORMOUS things. From that 175 million, he did 2 things that NASA was unable to do (due to being filled with their own internal weirdness) and something pretty useful with a major car company. You are delusional if you think that amounts to something that deserves the type of credit you give.

I didn't say an individual wasn't. I am talking about Bezos' failed ventures and Google's recent woke behavior, mostly. Apple is the worst. Hate everything about their interface but that's a slightly different story. Their businesses are fine overall, but they are actively becoming Truth Harbingers on their own accord. Musk is a good businessman and a whoring showman. Bezos is also good at many things, but I prefer Musk's style to Bezos', wokeness. Even though both things are bad. Microsoft I like okay, no real issues so I'm not sure what you are talking about. Musk's contemporaries and the comparison I made is not soley about how the companies are doing.
