Yes, German is the language of opera! I used to disdain opera, it seemed boring to me even though I hadn't heard a single opera, lol. Until I came across "main herr marquise" performed by Patricia Janěčková by chance. You could say she took away my opera virginity:feelshaha: And opera has been one of my favorite musical genres ever since.

I'll add male opera for a change:feelshmm:
