it was, although I played it when i was still purple pilled and capable of experiencing joy. Recommend the persona games to anyone who likes JRPGs anyway.

persona 5's modern UI and friendlier mechanics makes the older games a little harder to go back to, especially the original persona 3 FES release. P4G was released on steam a few months back and I have a feeling P3 Portable will be released eventually too.
