I've always listened to a lot of music, read a lot about music ... but lately I think it's overrated. Lately it feels to me as if there are are esentially two types of music:
1. intense, emotional music that moves me and shakes me emotionally;
2. dull and boring music that doesn't do anything.
Both of these options are not attractive. Since my emotions are like a ship, tossed around the waves by a storm, I don't want anything that makes me even more emotional and fragile. But something boring and dull I also don'T want.
Hence, I prefer listening to podcasts or background noises (noises of rain, waves, fire etc) these days.
