Murderer accused of sexually assaulting his prison cellmate

Timothy Bernard Hawkins slashed the throat of a Detroit area woman.

Timothy Bernard Hawkins, 48, has been charged with third-degree criminal sexual conduct and gross indecency for the alleged attack at a prison in Muskegon County.

“The victim alleges that the defendant was his roommate and forced a sexual penetration act against him,” said Muskegon County Chief Assistant Prosecutor Timothy Maat.
