Multigenerational family tried to start beef with me on a trailhead

So there was this trailhead. And it’s just before the road closed off onto a walking or bike path bridge. I was walking from this dead end bridge on to the road to the trailhead (coming out of the dead end). these two suvs were parked in front of the trailhead in a non designated parking spot., you are supposed to park on other side of bridge or at the camprodunds across from the start of the trail.But wasn’t bothered by it, but saw a big group walking out of trail towards these cars. They had kids and multiple people so I held my dog back and stopped bout 50 yards away until they were loaded to not get in way.
Some bitch in car says “ what’s that guy doing with a dog”
And this old asshole loading up his grandson says “I don’t know but he’s a fucking weirdo”.
Oh I’m sorry javkoffs, that I’m walking on a public trail system and you decided to make it an illegal loading spot and also trying to start altercation with me.
What fucking assholes
