After over five years of living on my own, I moved back in with Mom. This feels like a huge setback and I'm already regretting it. I don't have as much privacy and it's always so loud here. I miss my apartment already I miss feeling independent. Too bad the job market is complete shit and rent is so damn high everywhere

Damn bro i relate cause i've had similar situations, the last year has been kinda agitated. Did you quit your job as i did ? I lived alone for two years then moved back to family for a few months then temporarily to a slum apartment before finally moving into a decent place one month ago. I had to return to my job to regain my independence

I was fired actually, while I did quickly get a new job, it didn't pay enough for me to live on my own anymore
