The problem is you guys is that you are blinded by ego
You spend cash to fulfill your nutritional needs, you don't go out and hunt "like a real man", like men did in the past (in hunter gatherer communities)
At one point in our history being able to hunt was what men staked their manhood on. A man would not dare be a "gatherer" and feel proud about it, nor would he want to barter for meat when he was expected to hunt by all the women in the community/village (it would be emasculating)
A man like you thousands of years ago wouldn't dare barter for meat and instead gather things to trade, as it would be a mark of shame upon you. If you didn't help in the hunt or hunt for the meat yourself it would be a strike against your masculinity, your ego
Yet today, many men like you will gladly walk into a grocery store and buy all the steak you can eat, and feel no shame about doing so (because you live in a different era in which men stake their egos on different things)
Its the same thing with sex, you are staking your ego on your ability to "woo women" in the same way that men in the past staked their ego on their ability to "hunt for food"
Men like me who have no problem buying sex rather than dating, are no different from men like you who have no problem buying meat rather than hunting

You are just thinking with your ego not your brain, you are like the primitive man of the past who refuses to do what is easy and logical for someone with excess resources (barter for what you want)
A thousand or so years from now prostitution will probably be completely legal and normalized in most all countries, and guys like you will be a thing of the past, just like men who would be ashamed to barter (trade) for meat are a thing of the past
