yep. I looked it up and apparently she was charged with "deadly conduct with a firearm", which is a class a misdemeanor carrying a maximum sentence of one year in jail and a $4,000 fine (0% chance she's serving the whole thing). if it's a misdemeanor then she won't even be losing her gun rights if she's convicted. here's the thing though, the dog owner was also charged(!) with a class c misdemeanor for having a loose dog. I would understand why if he let the dog just roam around in the yard, but apparently it ran out when he cracked the door open so there really wasn't any way for him to control that
