If you have a small jaw any fat at all in your face/neck makes your hyoid look low. It's not a low hyoid, it's just a large amount of fat. If you jut your jaw forward (to imitate what a large, forward grown healthily developed jaw would do) the "hyoid" (aka fat) immediately disappears. It's why people with recessed jaws and high body fat often have turkey necks or disgusting subhuman profiles.
