I get that, still don't understand why "women are more likely to face violence from men they know" should necessarily inform us about some kind of cruel unfairness of life. And notice they always talk in relative numbers, because otherwise it would be a clear self-own. My assumption is that women probably get abused at a higher rate than men by people they know in absolute numbers, but the difference is not that high as to warrant this dolorous feminist wail about muh poor wahmen that get beat up by their chad boyfriends too much.
