Looking over my thread about how many incels had birth trouble and it got me to thinking, in prehistoric times, many of us would have died at birth or shortly thereafter. But what saved our lives was modern medicine. But that doesn't mean that we didn't suffer any negative effects. I strongly suspect that even though we lived due to modern medicine, our long term physical and mental development was negatively impacted.
In the above article, babies born pre term are less likely to form romantic relationships or even have sex. And I suspect that more digging will conclude that this likely only applies to heterosexual men. There's a 24 year old white girl at my job who was born a few months early and had to be put in an incubator and I can't imagine that she'd have much trouble getting sex or relationships. Her male equivalent will soon be posting here if he isn't already.
I'd also take a wild guess and say that as a group, male babies who were born on time and without complications grow up to be taller, better looking and more neurotypical than male babies born pre mature and with complications.
