The sun is what created every (or almost every) subhuman phenotype, hair texture, and dark color within what would otherwise be true humanity: it's only "good" as much as we have no choice to rely on it for the planet (and thus our) survival.

Humans are naive if they worship the sun, the same sun that burns them and creates legions of orcs to oppose true beauty and turn all the human foids (closest possible to 2D foids) into sheboons.
