Tbh the biggest blackpilling moment for me in anime was when Might Guy couldn't kill Madara despite the latter being nerfed, fooling around and without one eye. In the end most of the famous shonen protags were genetically blessed in some form or had a huge advantage over others (Goku's a saiyan, Naruto was born as a reincarnation + had the Nine-Tails at birth, Eren could become a titan etc.). They may have worked hard, but others did too and even more without getting anywhere. It's funny cause these are meant to inspire hope
