WHY DO WOMEN PREFER BIG DICKS?

It's just the result of a positive feedback loop in female sexual selection.

Suppose there are two sets of genes, those coding for dick size, and those coding for dick size preference (in females.) Well, a female who prefers big dicks (due to her genetics) is likelier than average to end up with a mate who has a big dick, because of her preference, and likelier than average to end up with daughters who prefer big dicks, because that preference is heritable, and likelier than average to end up with sons with big dicks, because of who she mates with. Conversely, men with big dicks will not only do best among women who like big dicks,and spread their big dick genes, but will also end up with daughters who prefer big dicks, because of which women help them to spread their genes (and pass on their own.) Unless counterbalanced by some consideration of natural selection, the tendency will be for average dick size and dick size preference to grow apace.

But if you have a small dick you can rest easy knowing you're descended from the men who didn't have to be chosen by a female in order to reproduce...

You get into weird territory when you start subscribing human preference to genetics. Unless you can point to exact locations in the genetic code, its kind of hard to prove.
