In the United States, young people are more lonely today than in any other period for which we have good data from sociologists.
As Derek Thompson, a journalist from The Atlantic, explains in whose tweet these graphs are shown, the same trend is observed all over the world:
"The number of couples has decreased almost everywhere - not only in Europe and America, but also in Korea, Turkey, and even in Iran, where marriages have fallen by 40% in 10 years."
(I think it's the same trend in Russia, especially in big cities.)

Thompson writes about one of the main causes of loneliness that affects men the most:
"Women's expectations are rising, and men's well-being, especially low-income ones, is falling; this combination undermines the traditional role of heterosexual marriage, in which the role of men is to provide economically for their family."
(simply put, low-income men today have almost no chance of starting a family)

Yes, I like the way a journalist tries to explain everything only with money, which women look for in men, but he didn't say anything about appearance.

fuck normies they don't know what loneliness is

It's funny, if in 2018 it was actually forbidden to talk about the growth of loneliness, today they already recognize the fact of the growth of loneliness, but they still try to blame everything not on appearance, but in this case just money.

It's interesting how normalized the fact of women dating/marrying for money is, as well as men being blamed for not living up to these standards. If it's not a sign of insane female privilege and gynocracy then I don't fucking know what is
No matter how they try to frame it it's still blackpilling for anybody with an at least double digit IQ :feelsseriously:

Yes, only men are always to blame - few marriages mean average men earn little. It's a very strange logic.

We need a beta male uprising. The bottom 5% of men going ER all at once

Oh, inceldom is largely being caused by broad socioeconomic phenomena? But I thought I just needed to adopt a better attitude to ascend! :feelshehe:
