Monogamy only serves to benefit the mental health and status of low value men. Women have no value whatsoever from monogamy, provided they have the ability to generate income and educate themselves. Women congenitally think of themselves to be prizes, just trophies to be obtained by winners at the top. This is their highest aspiration, and they confuse this ideal for love.
I think only a tiny fraction of women actually fall in love- they are as rare as diamonds.
In order for monogamy to work as a system generationally, the culture has to shift to something where mediocrity has merit, and will continue to have merit in perpetuity. This is why monogamy is a thing in more religious countries-- religiousity correlates with mediocrity. And at least in this system the outlier cult leaders aspire to hide their success, understanding that vanity can be downfall of their system. The society must be such that there are no ultraChads or incels, or social media where people have the freedom to evangelize these eugenic distinctions. The society must shift so that for the most part, everyone is in the middle, sustaining the same SMV.
Nobody appreciates mediocre. We all like to tell ourselves that mediocrity is everywhere, and yes, many mediocre people get into relationships- but you fail to realize that they BECAME mediocre. Nobody that's sexually successful is remarkably mediocre at the time of courtship. They all had an edge at that particular moment for that particular person.
