So recently I've been reading heavily into the "monkcel" lifestyle and any such similar lifestyles. They advocate for self care above all else, limited screen time, abstinence from masturbation, exercise, eating healthy. In the modern world I personally am enjoying starting my journey on this lifestyle, it's views towards women are somewhat jokey as I've mainly been exposed to it via memes, so it's the usual "get down king there's a w*man behind you" or "spent 10 hours deadlifting heavy today after thinking about her, I won't let her drag me down again". Monkcel isn't necessarily focused upon women more of the betterment of the self, my own personal view of women is one of not caring, some may hate women but personally I don't care what they do or think, one should focus on themselves beyond anything else.

So yeah I'm just curious as to everyone's thoughts on this sort of thing.

inb4 "cope" spammers. If that something you enjoy, nobody can take that lifestyle away from you. I have seen good looking men who are monkmaxxed and just refrain from even getting laid.

As far as I know, we have very few "monkcels" here. I am slowly and not consciously moving to monkhood. I stopped escortcelling months ago and only jerk off like once a week atm. Might even quit fapping.

We should prioritize our own needs above all else. Lots of guys here still try to please other people and only torture themselves because it's over anyway.

no opinion. dont care

Being a hermit is better...

Less rules.

Could be worse. Maybe find one thing you really enjoy and work it in someplace at least occasionally
