After ravaging part of east Germany and destroying town of Meissen during a brief raid in 1241, Mongols returned to Germany after 700 years.
During WW2 Soviets mobilised in the small Buryat-Mongol Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic 120,000 soldiers ( Buryats are a Mongolian ethnic group, in general they are the same as Mongols ).
Many of these were natural-born hunters so they were fearsome warriors and good snipers.
Zhambyl Tulaev killed 313 Germans
Arsenij Etabaev killed 355 Germans
Buryat soldiers in front of Brandenburg gate, 1945.
