It is extremely fucking horrible. You have to do your 4-8 hour wagie grind, and this is with me doing it very efficiently. Then shitty house chores left and in my case, the house is literally falling apart with all types of problems( see thread here). So I have to spend another 2-3hours on house chores.

So 7-11 hours of day taken. Next is having to grind another fucking 3-4 hours on interview preparation bullshit to get a coding job. Another fucking brain rape grind. In fact this brain rape is far worse than work. Shitty gay pseduo math IQ test bullshit in coding format. Fuck companies.

so total grind is 10-15 hours every single fucking day. I even tracked my sleep, instead of sleeping 8-9 hours. I am sleeping 4-7. I have to literally sacrifice my sleep to make even an ounce of progress.

Worst thing about all this, is I have to keep at this fucking grinding for at least another year or two to hit 200-300k salary zone. Even a simple decent salary requires all this fucking effort. While Stacies and Chads earn millions from tik tok, YouTube, twitch, daddy's money, shitskin curries like me have to spend 10-15 hours every single motherfucking day, grinding for months and years to make some progress.

If you do remote online work you don't even need that much money to have an enjoyable life. Just move to a country with a lower cost of living and live like a king making even a 30K annual salary (depends on the country).

I just wish I could find some remote work to do now. I'm thinking about getting into coding, but I don't want to waste my time and find out that when I start my career coders get completely replaced with AI. Coding is quickly becoming and obsolete job and you are expected to take work home and keep up to date on coding and language changes. It's a job where you have to keep learning, and I hate learning at this point in my life lol.

True moving to cheaper area would work. There are some problems as some companies make it so that you can't do the remote work outside USA. Ofc lots of people just use a location spoofing method(VPN/hardware VPN) which also is not as bad idea. I will probably do that after having gotten a good higher paying job. I want to experience some of the more expensive cities and countries before going the more chill route of going to the cheaper areas.

As for coding going obsolete. I think it could happen but likely at the minimum 15-20 years away before the Ai/auto-complete software is there, if I notice that risk, will swap to management or project management or other type of similar role. But yeah it isn't the best remote type of job if you hate learning.

the higher salary jobs the more you have to grind. To even pass the resume screen for the good paying jobs, you either go to a top tier university + grind for interviews/connections. Or you get normal university degree and have to grind experience as well(3-5 yrs) + the interview grind.
