Japan has 126 million people. And had 628,000 more deaths than births last year. Japan's fertility rate is 1.30 but its been low for longer than China's fertility rate.

The entire world's population can fit in an area the size of Texas that means the planet could support 8 gazillion people if we all were to eat bugs and live in pods and only use renewable energy (except for the elites who will live in castles and eat meat and use as much fossil fuels as they want).
