What is it with moms randomly coming in to fuck with your shit? Often as a teenager I'd be playing videogames in my room, and my mom would randomly come in, say "ITS HOT IN HERE!!!!" and open the window. I always hated that beause then people outside could hear me and I had to be a bit more mindful with what I said (if I was on skype, the predecessor to zoom/teams/discord). It always pissed me the fuck off. If I'm hot, I'll open the window. Obviously I'm FINE considering I didn't do anything, so why do you have to come in and harrass me? Oftentimes I'd have to get up and manually close the window, then she'd come in again randomly in 40 minutes and open it again.

So fucking annoying.

My mother also always made us go to school no matter how sick we were. The school would sometimes just send us home and she'd get pissed at us and give us extra chores for it. One time I was so sick I felt like I was dying. I threw up multiple times and I was shivering despite it being hot. I didn't even make it through homeroom class without them sending me to the nurse, and my temperature was so high they called my mom and insisted she take me to the hospital. She just drove me home and made me to extra meaningless chores.

I think ultimately she just wanted the house to herself. At one point we were a family of 7 (one of my cousins lived with us for a few years) so I can understand being desperate to have the house to yourself for a while.

But I also think because I got such bad grades that I "couldn't afford to miss school". Of course my bad grades were just downstream from my low IQ but my parents didn't understand this.

Your room probably smelled really bad, at least your mom was nice enough to lie to you. during the covid lockdown i would just jerk off to my mid teacher in zoom calls all day and rarely shower. my mom came in screaming that it smelled like sweat and that i needed to open the window
