I think it is not feasible to reach the height that you want in order not to experience constant mogging(unless you do that fucked up femur surgery). There is only so much that footwear can do. 5'2 or 5'5, you will be viewed as short all the same. I'd stop trying to be viewed as higher if I were you. All those attempts will end with the same result: disappointment and mental suffering. You have 4 ways to go about it:
1) try to cope and pretend they don't notice(for the sake of your mental health).
2)go trough that surgery.
3)move to SEA where you wont stand out.
4)blow your brains out.
