Minimum Wage Laws are Ruining my Life

Because companies in my jurisdiction have to pay exorbante wages for even basic labor, they only take candidates with years of experience. In the past, I could offer my labor for a simple $5/hour, get some experience, and eventually move to a higher role. I have four years experience in a "professional role" , but that means jack shit because now the job market for my industry is 100x competitive. I'm not looking for these high skilled roles anymore, i just want warehouse stuff.

Nobody willing to give me a chance because it will cost them insane amounts for even the lowest level labor. Basically in my area if you get a job you're rich, but if you're not from a rich family you won't get a job.

If you're a citizen, employers have to pay you minimum wage cause law, you pay taxes and you get social benefits also

If you're illegal, employers literally cannot hire you cause you dont have social security number or any ID, you also don't pay taxes or get any benefits (theoretically but libtard states dont check these days) and employers pay you under the table cash for much less

I don't feel like the minimum wage is America First. I think the minimum wage causes offshoring, so it may benefit foreigners at the expense of those here. I'm not sure though.

Employers pay minimum wage only to immigrants and others here on a visa and even then I suspect that they undercut their pay. All native citizens are fucked in the job market. What a shame this nation has turned into.
