I think before long, if it hasn't already net immigration will increase from the 1 million a year it has been for like 50 years to go up to 2-3 million a year.
India seems our #1 country for immigration right now. Because it is ideal being so poor, super populous and with ambitious STEM people. The top 4 I would say are India, Pakistan, Bangladesh & the Philippines.
American industry just has shortages of people everywhere. Like mega corporations and venture capital there is all these projects that they have secured funding, but they can't get enough workers so things are being delayed.
