Car detailing is a nice cope but washing 4-8+ cars a day for minimum wage is another thing.
Here in CA, you do not wanna work at one of those car detailing places at gas stations. A single worker (often illegal) can do 7-8+ cars in a single day. You'll be totally exhausted by days end.
Think about it, a decent car detail takes roughly 2-3+ hours (mostly exterior plus a light vacuum, dusting, and wipe for the interior). If they're doing 7-8+ cars a day (which they often are) they're being rushed by management. They're busting their asses off and sweating a ton just to make minimum wage. It's mostly desperate but hard working illegals that work there.
